Although we have only touched on this very vast subject, we must conclude. We find in this dissertation a multitude of questions about the future of paper in our current context of digitalization. I don't think that this question is currently answered. Maybe yes, maybe no, there are so many divergent opinions and studies that we cannot immediately know whether paper communication will disappear.
It is still well established in our lives, adapts, evolves, combines with digital technology, but how do we know if it will still be there in years to come?
For my part, I hope not! Today print communication is becoming an art. Ideas, each crazier than the last, in order to be able to differentiate yourself from competitors. I like the idea that there is some sort of competition forcing companies to continually outdo each other.
This thesis traces the establishment of print communication in our daily lives and for the moment, it is very present.
